was MISS BEATLE? I used to wonder why they would name the school teacher after a bug... Then one day when I checked out the credits real good (during its first run) I noticed the spelling. But they sure had me fooled for a while.

I've always wanted a Miss Beadle thong!! :brent

I met Charlotte Stewart at the Tombstone Film Festival in 2005. She is every bit as nice and approachable as Miss Beadle.  :D

I think I did a random web search and stumbled on that site.

I like how it says "made in USA" in the corner of the thong ad. Just cracks me up...

I always thought it was Miss Beetle as well. That's the way I've always pronounced it!

OH Nuts!

I always remembered the correct spelling (just thought of the beadle character from Oliver Twist)

That makes sense. I guess I always knew the correct spelling too but for some reason I kept thinking Beetle.

Looks like the Miss Beadle thongs have been discontinued, but you can still get Miss Beadle boy's briefs.

I found a link to the book she wrote and so far it's eye opening. But I love reading about how actors and actresses are so different than their characters. Her book is called "Little House in the Hollywood Hills" and there's a preview of the first 8 chapters on Amazon.
