X17 can report exclusively that Lindsay Lohan was cited for driving under the influence this morning. The Beverly Hills Sheriff's Department received a call around 5:30 am about a driver having lost control of her car at the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Foothill Dr., according to Sergeant Mike Foxen of the BHSD. No one involved in the accident was on the scene when officers arrived. The only person on the scene was the witness who called to report the accident, who had recognized the driver of the Mercedes SL 65 AMG black convertible as the young actress.

Lindsay and her two passengers left the scene of the accident in an univolved car and went to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Sgt. Foxen was unaware of whether Lindsay was still at the hospital or not and would not name the facility where she received care.

An officer investigation revealed that Lindsay was intoxicated at the time of the accident and Lohan's car was towed around 6:30 am this morning. Because of the need for Lindsay to receive medical attention, she was never taken into police custody, according the Sgt. Foxen. She will be have to appear in court to face DUI charges in the near future but not date has been set.

X17 photographer Marcello Volpe saw Lindsay leaving the party in the Hollywood Hills this morning around 5 am and described her as looking "completely wasted." He said, "It looked like Lindsay had been partying all night and she appeared to be in no condition to drive."

The place that many of the stars like to go to is a place called PROMISES in Malibu. For only $100,000 (somewhere around there) you go for a month. The thing here is this place states that alcoholism and drug use is NOT A DISEASE. They don't believe in AA or any of the 12 step programs. So, if celebs are being told this, it is a wonder they continue to drink and do drugs. :rolleyes: Wow, that's how this place stays in business, they take their $$$, herd them in and out and they know they are doomed to fail, so here they come in again and fork over another $100 grand. Josh Hancock foolishly chose his fate by drinking, driving and ultimately, wrecking. His father has no case at all against either the towing company nor the bar Hancock drank at(They offered him a Cab home, but he refused). Lindsay Lohan needs some serious help, but it doesn't look like her mother is any help to her at all. She needs God to free her of the poisons of alcohol, once and for all. Right. I would, too, at least half the time be chauffeured. I already have the limo; I would just need a chauffeur.

Something happened very similar to this subject. A 1980 Cad limo one of my Cadillac friends owned was once owned by a wealthy married couple. The husband was arrested for drunk driving so the wife bought the limo and hired a chauffeur to handle all the driving. That's the way to do it!

In a press conference this afternoon about the arrest of Lindsay Lohan, cops say they found a "usable amount" of a drug at the scene, which they say was cocaine. Lt. Mitch McCann of the Beverly Hills Police Department would not say where the drug was found, but it was "not on her person."

Police tell TMZ that 20-year-old Lohan and two other adults were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible when she lost control and crashed into a curb and trees in Beverly Hills around 5:30 AM. After the crash, police say LiLo got into another car and was driven to Century City Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries that involved "something to her upper chest area." Police said the two other people in her car were not hurt.

Officers received a 911 call about the accident and "tracked Ms. Lohan to the local hospital, where she was ultimately placed under arrest" for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Lt. McCann said it appeared as if Lohan was speeding and lost control. She was cited and released and will have to face a judge.

A rep for Lohan could not be reached for comment.

I honestly dont know if she has an addiction or not. Shes 20 years old, cant say that her night out(stumbling around throwing up etc) was any different than some of my friends or any other college kid for that matter. I was doing that almost every night of my summers in high school. I grew out of it thankfully but thats what people do ours just isnt all over the news.

She is such an idiot. I hate hearing about all these hollywood starlets having addictions and just ignoring them. She is obviously aware she has a problem if she entered rehab, I'm just guessing she doesn't know how bad it is. Most celebrities don't until it's too late. According to MacLaine's rep, there's actually "no deal" in place for Lohan to act in "Poor Things," produced by and starring MacLaine. The rep added that casting isn't set, and shooting wasn't scheduled to start for a couple weeks.

That's not what we were hearing just this weekend, when several very reliable sources (and the trades) were saying that Lohan was set to begin shooting on Thursday for three weeks, and Still Rolling Productions -- the company producing "Poor Things" -- said that Lohan's DUI arrest wouldn't affect shooting.

Sounds like these celebs are suckers for an easy rehab rather than getting to the nitty gritty of their problem. Promises is for suckers who want to pay $100 grand to hear THEY DON'T HAVE A DISEASE.

I've read where Richard Carpenter had a Quaalude addiction back in the mid-late '70s. When he finally reached the breaking point, he went to rehab at a place in Kansas called the Menninger Clinic. He stayed there for quite a few weeks until he was off the pills. From that day forward, he has been drug-free. He went out of rehab feeling so revitalized and fresh that he implored Karen to get professional help for her anorexia. She refused and instead flew to NY to record her solo album. The Simple Life: Bimbo Prison Break!

This time, Paris is behind bars and she's joined by special guest star Lindsay Lohan. They try to plot a prison break, but don't get past how they're going to keep their nails from breaking while they escape.

However, they have an ally on the outside...Nicole Richie. Nicole has a plan - to slip through the cracks in the pavement, get inside the prison and release her pals. That is, if she doesn't get busted for a DUI herself on the way to the prison.

Lindsay actually went to the Wonderland Rehab Facility last time. That place is definitely a joke since she was still making a freaking movie while being in there.

What's next?? Lindsay checks in to the Neverland Rehab Facility and detoxes with Peter Pan?? Maybe they'll have lunch together and talk trash about Tinkerbell.

The rehab I went to in Vermont (errr, 6 times) wasn't exactly a sh-tbox. It was privately owned, operated, etc, and was like five-star compared to other places, such as state hospitals. Sometimes when you're in nice places you forget why you're really there in the first place (why do you think I was there so many times?), especially celebrities, who can buy luxury anywhere.

If Lindsay wants to clean up, she's going to have to work for it- but something tells me she doesn't want to stop.

shes only going to rehab because it'll help get her out of some of her legal problems and clean up her image slightly. We need to throw in 99.9% of Americas college students as well if thats the case.

Officials Investigate If Lohan Was Served Drinks Illegally


California officials are investigating whether there is any evidence Lindsay Lohan was illegally served alcohol before she was arrested for driving under the influence on Saturday. The 20-year-old, who police picked up after she crashed her Mercedes in Beverly Hills, is under the U.S. state's legal drinking age of 21. Before her accident, Lohan was spotted partying in West Hollywood nightclub Les Deux. Website Tmz.com claims to have video footage of the actress leaving the venue at around 3:30am on Saturday morning - an hour and a half after closing time. John Carr, a spokesperson for California's Department Of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC), has confirmed his agency is investigating whether there is evidence Lohan and other youths were served alcohol illegally, and whether they were served drinks after hours. Les Deux has issued the following statement: "We have and will continue to work closely with the ABC to make sure alcohol is consumed by responsible people of the legal drinking age, in a responsible manner. Les Deux is a restaurant and there is no age limit for our patrons. Lindsay had dinner at Les Deux that night and waited for friends to pack up the DJ supplies, thus leaving Les Deux after closing. Because of the enormous paparazzi presence outside of Les Deux that night, we allowed her to stay late and wait for her friends. She was not drinking at Les Deux, and left driven by her driver." Lohan checked into the Promises clinic in Malibu on Monday. Earlier this year, she received treatment at the Wonderland Center rehab facility in Hollywood.

The director/owner of Promises says they don't treat A DISEASE because alcoholism and drug addiction is NOT A DISEASE. :rolleyes: Must be why those celebs and rich folk keep going back to Promises. :crazy:
