FueledByParamore 05-04-2007, 07:36 PM doesnt say in the last episode that winnie went away for 8 years then came back and they got married or had a kid together or something? im confused cause i read another thread that says they didnt stay together so idk im lost
Classicshowsgurl15 05-05-2007, 06:51 PM It says that Winnie went to study Art History in Paris and that they never forgot their promise: they wrote to each other every week for the next 8 years. he was there to meet her at the airport when she came home, with his wife and son 8 months old. They didn't end up together.
FueledByParamore 05-06-2007, 02:04 AM oh ok i herd it wrong then when i seen it lol
jayman75 05-08-2007, 07:04 AM Watch the last five minutes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oykOSd8ElK8) of the show on youtube...
What a great show. I still cry at the end.
Classicshowsgurl15 05-10-2007, 09:45 PM I have watched that clip of the last one over and over. I haven't even seen the full episode of it yet and it makes me cry.
powerranger 07-25-2007, 11:05 PM does anyone know who did kevin marry at the end of the series

powerranger 07-25-2007, 11:07 PM did it say who kevin marry in the end
Mikado 07-25-2007, 11:46 PM they never said....one can assume it was someone he met after high school
JulieSomoski 07-26-2007, 12:06 PM I could always tell that Winnie and Kevin were never going to end up together. It was just the way the series was supposed to go. But, I was gladly surprised with the series finale, and how the writers ended it. It couldn't have been done better.
thetornado 07-28-2007, 04:21 AM Yeah it could have been and especially how Dan Lauria in a recent interview said that independence day wasn't supossed to have been the last episode but ABC decided to cancel it anyways!

By that time ratings for the show were already out of the top #30, so I don't blame ABC for cancelling it, even though I wish it would have gone on another season.
Wreckless 11-04-2007, 04:50 AM ^ no the ratings were fine. that's not what the show was cancelled due to/because of..
Classicshowsgurl15 11-04-2007, 06:06 AM I don't think the last episode could have been done better either. Even though Kevin and Winnie didn't end up together, it was a great ending to a great show.
They ended it because it was getting low in the ratings and Kevin was getting older and they had to use more places to film because Kevin drove and so it cost them alot of money. That is what they say on the Biography for it.
Wreckless 11-04-2007, 02:40 PM no, for the last time, the ratings were not low.

Why was Kevin driving so much? I stuck around the house and didn't start driving until I was in college (and got my first car after graduation, at that).
ghostgyrrl 03-10-2009, 05:33 PM It makes me cry, I loved that show as a kid. I am glad they didn't end up together, it would have been to stagnant and like they never grew in character.

What do you mean by "stagnant"? I'm lost.
