In "Mel's Cup", Alice and Flo were stupid enough to take something from the diner without asking Mel first. Meanwhile, it was Vera who did a little detective work to find out who took the cup. LOL Strange episode!

I did notice that she did get a little more attractive. Larry was actually hitting on her too in the beginning of the episode. Maybe more make up?

Yep. Her eyes before were not made up. No make-up on them before, which made her eyes have that blank stare (or scary look to them like you said). Now, the make-up really brings out her eyes and the color. She is definitely "looking good" (like in the words of Freddie Prinze);)

And will continue. I know when I watch the first season of Alice, I can't wait til they get to this point of the show where Vera is made up better and getting smarter. Watching her in the first season it is so hard because I know she doesn't look that bad and eventually the character becomes less of a dingbat.
