View Full Version : Need Help On Finding This UM Story PETEYHERE 04-12-2007, 03:09 AM thanks Awsi Dooger 04-12-2007, 05:10 AM I think that's the Casie Nicole segment, which happened off the coast of Georgia in 1990. The name of the sole survivor was Nathan Neesmith. He found a large styrofoam box that popped out from underneath the overturned Casie Nicole, and survived in it until being rescued days later. There's another UM case with some similarities, a boat called the Sara Jo that was lost in the Pacific. But there were no known survivors and the phone call aspect fits the Casie Nicole case, not the Sara Jo. That boat was eventually found maybe a decade later thousands of miles away on a remote island, and also a possible grave of one of the sailors. But I'm confident the Casie Nicole case is the one you are describing. crystaldawn 04-12-2007, 09:22 AM Hello, I am certainly not the biggest Unsolved Mysteries fan. I am a Filmmaker and I recently remembered an episode that really caught my attention many years ago. The story was about a group of boys who went out to sea on a boat trip. The boat broke in the middle of the (pacific?) ocean and they were stranded on a raft. Days went by until they finally saw a Ship in the distance. One or two of the boys swam toward the ship to try and get help. The boy(s) never returned. Days later the boy(s) still on the raft were rescused and brought home. The boy(s) who never came back from the swim were thought to be dead until years later their family got a phone call about them being alive. I remember one of the possibilities was that Pirates had captured the boys and made them slaves. Can anyone help me find the video for this? Is there somewhere where all UM videos can be Downloaded? If not, can anyone help me find a link to read the story about this case? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. I don't know about it being able to be downloaded anywhere but I have the segment on tape so contact me if you're interested. slasherman 12-13-2008, 02:51 PM interesting case.. |
