I didn't get my first P.M. until 11-10-2002, which was about 9 months after I joined. LOL!! Just goes to show what kind of impression I made on people back then. :lol: Anyway, the first person I ever received a P.M. from was Pavanbadal. I asked him if he could put important stuff like schedules of tv shows, etc at the top of pages so I wouldn't forget about shows that were coming up. He was very kind in his reply, and explained to me that he already did do that on most pages, and that he'd continue to do his best, and he always has done a great job with that!!

The first P.M. I ever recieved that wasn't in response to something I had written first, came from Pzelda, who was known then as Pzelda: Vicki!!! Her and I had just found out on the boards that we had known each other before we met at S.O., at a now extinct website that we both use to visit called Yesterdayland. In the P.M., she was telling me about a place where many of the former Y.L.er's were, incase I wanted to get back in contact with any of them. So, I guess that would make Pzelda the first S.O.er who voluntarily wrote to me. LOL!! Embarrassing thing is, that was my second P.M. ever, and it was 7 months after I got my first. :rotflmao:

I have no idea. I used to clean my PM inbox regularly, so my earliest PM I have saved is from 2004. It's from Janice.

tdf4077 sent me my first pm on 12-31-06. She was very nice and helpful.

Sinatrastar (now Seinatra), welcoming me to the Seinfeld boards.

I believe the first pm I got was from Wilcap who wanted me to join one of the survivor games on one of the boards. I don't have that saved so I could be wrong but I think it was him. :lol: I know the first regular SO'er I pm'd with was Anthony ( Small Wonderian) in the summer of 2003. We would talk about football and stuff and the first PM I got saved is from Tara from September 2003 in which she wanted me to join her and some of her friends in Random so Tara got me over to CC. Thanks Tara. :D

Edit: I just checked my sent folder and I do still have the pm I sent him and it was WilCap who wanted me to join a Three's Company Survivor Game on the TC Board. It was August 10, 2003. :lol:

Haha, exactly. :D It's amazing how far back we go... I was at Yesterdayland as early as 1999, but didn't sign up to use the boards until November of 2001. I'm pretty sure you were around when I FINALLY signed up.

Oh, BTW, that reminds me. The original owners have resurrected YL, but they call it RetroLand now and it's over at retroland.com. A ton of the originals are there too... I think they resurrected it in late late late 2004, but it started getting more traffic at the end of 2005. For a while there, RL's layout looked like the one on YL, but now it's just fugly. They still have the same ideas and concepts as the original YL, it's just redesigned. (BLAH!) I signed up there in December of 2005, but I'm afraid I'm not a YL regular like I used to be, back in the day. :lol:

Yep, I always did like you too. :D I thought it was so freaking awesome that we both ended up here. You are one of only a VERY small number of YLers that joined here, but the only one that posts regularly, AND we were friends long before coming here, too. :lol:
