Do you think the show would have been better if Ann Marie had a room-mate?

No, because she was suppose to be Miss Independence. I think sharing expenses (and the spotlight) would have taken away from that.

Thats probably true. But do you think it would have been more realistic to have a room-mate to help share expenses? It would have made for a slightly
different show though.

Oh yeah, I think a roommate would have made the show more realistic. Ann would have needed more income to afford those lovely outfits! :)

Bonnie Scott (and now in the second season, Ruth Buzzi) as Ann's best friends helped though.

I covet almost everything she wears. :lol: In one of the DVDs' featurettes Marlo mentions that they didn't spend too much time worrying about how her character could afford the clothes and apartment.
