If its like a backpack or brief case i dont see the problem but if its something that looks like a purse i think it's weird

Well it really doesn't look like a purse because the strap is LONGER than it is on a women's purse. So the Man purse hangs a lot lower than a women's purse

That reminds me of the episode of Coach where Hayden was given his own primetime coach's show. The producers gave him a (woman's) purse. Hayden said, "Does this make me look...confused?" Later in the ep, Hayden and Luther are looking in the dark cabin for Christine.

Luther: She couldn't have gone very far, she left her purse.
Hayden: That's not hers, that's mine!!

To answer your question, Solomon, I don't see anything wrong with it. For Christmas, my company gave all of us the large tote-like bags with the long shoulder straps. Why shouldn't guys be allowed to use them??

I think it depends on the type of work he does, if he is a construction worker then I couldn't see him with a Man purse but if he worked in a Office Setting then yeah it's likely he would have a man purse

Very True, he works in a factory where there are mostly men, so it wouldn't
go over too well. And he's 6ft 4in and muscular, so he would really look funny
packing around a mans purse.

They sell 'man purses' at the Target here. And I don't give a **** about how it looks when someone of the male gender is carrying one around. Some type of bag is easier to carry around than a briefcase.

If you're gonna carry a purse, call it a purse. Don't try to make it sound masculine by saying you carry a "man purse."

What's next? Wearing "man panties?" lol

I love that bag. My husband carried one for years. It's the casual guy's briefcase. More men use them in the workplace than briefcases these days. I used to see them on the train and on the job all the time. I think the problem is that you're calling it a purse. It's a leather bag.

Lol, I never understood why some women carry manly purses. My wife's purses are very feminine.
Some of us women just don't like feminine purses, because they're usually really small and designed to hold makeup & yer checkbook wallet, at max.

I have a really large bag... I wouldn't call it a purse. It's more like a purse attempt to be a messenger bag. It's sort of the same idea as this one (http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_5/601-7112374-5657708?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000ITFDZ0), only no pockets on the sides and no hook on it. I don't speak, I use sign language so I need to be able to have both hands free AND my bag [purse?] out of the way in order to speak. Plus I carry around necessities that are too large for a regular feminine purse... you would NEVER catch me dead with a clutch. EVER. lol

Ya know, just saying. ;)

This thread is making me want to go buy a new bag now, lol.
