What kind of vehicle did you use, when you were first learning to drive?

I learned to drive using a used 1965 mustang, I liked it because it was small
and easy to handle.

I still drive the car I learned to drive on -- a 1994 Jetta GL III. :)

My first car was a 1987 Chrysler New Yorker, that I purchased for $500 from a friend of the family when I turned 16. Drove it from April 2003-December 2005. WHen it was invovled in an accident. Than got hooked on Lincolns. Miss that car. It had a turbo charged engine on that baby, and could pass anything on the road.

My moms week old BMW X5. and I put a nice dent in it attempting to parallel park it. To this day I hate driving SUV's.

The first car I drove... actually behind the wheel... was a friend's 1969 Chevelle. But one of my brothers let me steer and accelerate his '66 Plymouth Fury III V-8. I would reach over and take hold of the steering wheel and push the accelerator.

My actual driving lessons at home were in the '66 Dodge Dart GT V-8 which I owned from 1979 to 2002.

What year Park Avenue?

A '95 I believe. She bought it new, but she needs to go buy another car. The miles are racking up like crazy.

98 Toyota Corolla, the size of this car was an advantage for me parallel and reverse parking. :)

Small cars are a plus when you're learning to drive, don't you think?

Anyways I drive a 2006 Scion TC and learned to drive using my dads 89 Dodge Dakota. My first car was a 94 or 96 Saturn LS2.

I learned how to drive in a 2001 Toyota Echo. I was taught by a driving instructor, since my mother couldn't teach me (she didn't have the patience and nerves to do it lol)
