Deep Cover Code Name: Dancer Beneath the Planet of the Apes John Carpenter's Vampires Hot Shots: Part Deux Papillon On TV, he was killed off in episodes of Gunsmoke (twice!), All in the Family, Deep Space Nine, and of course he played Lt. Rodriguez, the ill-fated cop on Miami Vice. I believe he died in Glory as well. Yup, he did indeed die in Glory. I remember because we watched that movie in history class in 8th grade. We had to take home permission slips to see it because of the movie's R-rating.
