My grandmother (father's mother, who passed on in 2000) was like a hybrid of Endora from Bewitched (low, gravelly voice and sense of adventure) and Marie from ELR. She was renowned for her cooking, like Marie, and had a sometimes shaky relationship with my mom. It was nowhere near as bad as Marie and Debra's, though, I'm happy to say!!

My parents, who have been married since 1974 and still love each other very much, bicker like Marie and Frank Barone. The arguments are over the silliest, most mundane things, too.

OK, after reading this, my life seems so ELR it is scary:

Marie: A mix of both my paternal and maternal grandmas
Debra: A mix of my mom and one of my father's sisters
Ray: My mother's brother
Robert: My father's brother

I am the oldest daughter and I have to younger brothers, even thought they are not twins and the three of us all have blond hair.

now that I think about it; my late grandmother could have been Marie Barone; the way she acted sometimes.

My Mom reminds me of Eunice and my Grandma like Mama in the way of their relationship with one another. My Mom wasn't the favorite child.

My grandmother (my dad's mother) reminds me so much of Gretchen Kraus from Benson. I just watched the Season 1 DVD set, and the strict, no-nonsense German housekeeper was just like my grandma come back to life! The only difference is that Grandma had no accent (even though she was born to German immigrants). But beneath the gruff exteriors, both Grandma and Kraus were softies. So there you go. :D

My mother used to remind me of Clair Huxtable, pretty, bossy, bitchy at times, career driven.

My mother's brother reminds me of a mix between George Lopez and Bernine Mac. Funny, outspoken, and loud.

My late sister used to remind me of Tia Landry(sister, sister), the ultra smart, sometimes nerdy twin(and I was Tamera).

My father reminds me of Jason Seaver(Growing Pains) and sometimes Jack Arnold(The Wonder Years)
