View Full Version : "NORBIT" is the number one movie in the Box Office???????? TVFactFan 02-14-2007, 12:56 PM HUH???? So tons o people went to pay so they can watch this silly sh*T??-LOL You got to be kiddin me. I heard Jay Leno say last night that it was #1 in the box office Brian Damage 02-14-2007, 07:57 PM I don't get it myself, it looks really stupid. Cactus Jack 02-14-2007, 09:32 PM Its pretty funny, but not good enough for #! comedyfreak 02-15-2007, 06:54 AM It made over 30 Million dollars over the weekend. Buffyboy323 02-15-2007, 06:21 PM That's just sad. GARFIELDKOOL 02-15-2007, 08:34 PM This means Eddie will continue to make bullsh*it movies. I can't believe how far he has fallen. What he needs to do is take full ownership of his company. He has two white managers that own half of Eddie Murphy Productions. No wonder Spike Lee criticized that clown. Spike Lee's movies probably don't get the numbers at the box office like Eddie's does, but at least he got full controll of his company. Eddie is a true example of a sellout. Why is race being brought into this??? GARFIELDKOOL 02-15-2007, 08:57 PM Why is race being brought into this??? I didn't intend to bring race into this, it just happen to be brought up because I feel that's probably playing a big difference in the movies that Eddie is making. Brian Damage 02-15-2007, 09:08 PM I didn't intend to bring race into this, it just happen to be brought up because I feel that's probably playing a big difference in the movies that Eddie is making. Why??? If he had black people running his company, he would be making better movies? May I remind you of Boomerang and A Vampire in Brooklyn? GARFIELDKOOL 02-15-2007, 09:12 PM Why??? If he had black people running his company, he would be making better movies? May I remind you of Boomerang and A Vampire in Brooklyn? That's not what I am saying. I am saying that Eddie needs to take control of his company, stop letting others tell him this is the way to go. It's like he got no direction. he just cares about crap like his lastest movie making millions of doallars. He's got too much clout to settle for BullSh*it movies. He left his core audience in the 80s behind. The ones that MADE him. BTW, Boomerang was OK, Vampire In Brooklyn sucked. comedyfreak 02-16-2007, 08:36 AM Eddie has been known for his comedic movies, no one downed him for The Nutty Professor. Him doing multiple characters works for him, why not continue to do them if that is what people want to see. He can also continue to do serious movies nothing wrong with that either. isiahthomas 02-16-2007, 06:14 PM BrianDamage you have just revealed what i already know about you. You're a f*cking lame bi*ch. How can you say Boomerang was a wack movie? Just because your lame ass couldn't relate to it, that's why it was wack to you? That movie is a classic. I agree with GarfieldKool that Eddie has made some terrible decisions with the movies he's done. Let's not forget his other wack movies The Adventures Of Pluto Nash, Holy Man, Beverly Hills Cop 3, The Haunted Mansion, Dr Doolittle 1 and 2, The Nutty Professor 2, Showtime. A Vampire In Brooklyn was definitely trash and i wish i hadn't wasted my money on that. I'm surprised Angela Bassett and Allen Payne was in that garbage because they usually don't be in wack movies. Eddie has definitely abandoned his black audience who supported him in the 80's. He's only interested in the cash and that's obvious because his career went downhill after Boomerang movie. Life, Metro, Dreamgirls were the last good flicks he's done. Brian Damage 02-16-2007, 06:23 PM BrianDamage you have just revealed what i already know about you. You're a f*cking lame bi*ch. GoldenGirlsFan92 02-16-2007, 06:33 PM I saw it opening night, and I thought it was good but not Great. It made 33million. Mr. Stefani 02-17-2007, 01:28 PM That movie was hilarious. I dont care what anyone says. I'm sick of walk of walking out of movies depressed. I walked out with my chest hurting from laughing so much. |
