I actually think Singletary is the best name to come out of his interviews. Norv Turner and Wade Phillips haven't done much as head coaches themselves and Singletary might be able to help that defense which was the real reason for the team's collapse. I agree though I don't think it's real because I think Turner is going to be the coach.

I agree, although, he might do it just to get his name out there as a coach.

Mike was a great Defensive player. It'll be interesting to see him as a head coach. I wanna see If he make the cowboys a #1 ranked defense.

I agree, it is just done for formality but it helped Pittsburgh's new coach Mike Tomlin. Whether or not it was a good hiring remains to be seen.

Yea I agree. Last time Jerry knew he wanted to hire Parcells but he had to talk to a black coach first so he talked with Denny Green. Everyone knew that was a sham.

ESPN did say today though that Singletary interviewed with Jerry for 7 hours so maybe he impressed him. They also said he might be looking at the Bear's defensive coordinator as a Defensive coordinator for the Cowboys or Head Coach so maybe Norv's not here yet.

Singletary was the SECOND black coach Dallas interviewed.

The rule was satisfied after they interviewed secondary coach Todd Bowles.

So believe it or not, I guess Jerry Jones is/was interested in Singletary.

He is the assistant head coach for the Niners.
