I have done both. Actually, I have cooked them over a flame on the burner, while on a fork. The taste of the hot dog is different when you use a microwave vs. water.

I've done it before as well. It doesn't taste as good though.

On a side note, gotta love Elvin...he's so clueless, it's just hillarious!!!

That episode is called "Move It!" It's where the family wants Sandra and Elvin to move to a better appartment. They resist, but in the end decide to move to a new place for the health and safety of their expected baby. It's a good one, even though Cliff's parents are in that one and I can't stand most episodes with them in it, the story line is decent.

Saw this episode last night, well I guess Elvin had no choice but to put the hot dogs in the microwave instead of using a pot of water because when Cliff tried to get a glass of water, the water was brown. YUCK!!

That apartment was atrocious. I wouldn't live there if it was the last place to live on the face of the earth!:rolleyes: If there were places like that where I live it would be shut down in a heartbeat, it would be considered a housing violation.
