I agree, but you can also blame all the stupid media coverage that gets put on them. In this day and age there isn't one actress right now that I'd go ga ga over, they just don't have the class of the actresses from the 50's and 60's. Even Lauren Bacall doesn't think an actress like Nicole Kidman is a legend yet.

Yes!! I'm starting to have more respect for Ms. Bacall now. These actresses today, man, they get on my nerves. I know I was only born in 1978, but I respect actresses like the late Natalie Wood, Lauren Bacall, Lena Horne etc. because despite rumors of their scandalous personal lives, they knew how to be ladies.

But, Lindsay and Nicole(Ritchie) sort of remind me of Ms. Wood in her younger days which says a lot.

Thank you. Those lips are an insult to women (like me) who have naturally pouty lips BUT DON'T LOOK DRY AS THE MOJAVE DESERT!!!!!! There was a chat a while back abt this same topic, I was shocked at just how many people really hate her lips. I mean, when they aren't so dried up and that ugly crack in the middle, her lips would be beautiful. I just don't get it. :crazy:

I know. I agree. I know that she does do her charity work, for which I can at least give her props for, but I sometimes wonder at what expense? Is it for PR? I hope not. I remember how Princess Diana and Audrey Hepburn did their charity work and know in my heart that it was done out of love and concern. It just seem weird how out of the blue Jolie seemed to go from this weird, Billy Bob Thorton humping (ewwwww) girl to suddenly someone who is an ambassador.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I don't know why Angelina is being held as a saint when her records aren't clean. I honestly think the reason why she's a do-gooder is to get Hollywood on her side(after all before adopting Maddox and charites, she was an outsider, the freak.).

Can't speak on the Brad/Angelina thing because I would be a hypocrite, but yeah, that was wrong. She probably feels as though she should get a pass for that because she's a saint who adopted these 'poor' kids and gives money to these 3rd world countries. Ms. Wood was awesome, I just don't like how she was made as some whore who should have died from A.I.D.S(a bunch of people had made that comment after reading her biographies saying she asked to be raped.). In fact, Natalie reminds me a lot of my mother(god rest her soul) even looks like her!!!
