OK, I watched the episode thrs night that had the Patty Hearst gang...which they were looking for Jim Kilgore. At the end there seemed to be a new update added on by UM. A woman naratted it. What interesting is that he was captured in 2003, stood trial got 6 years. In order for that to have happened...you fiigure a couple years went by before he got to trial. It seems to me this update if from around 2005. Have they started updating some of these cases on there own?

However I recorded the 3 & 4 am showings and I was glad to see they are showing the old ones then. The first one was the Alcatraz Special and the second one was Kathy Powers, did a Frenchman cross the Atlantic before Lindbergh and the deaf lady looking for her father. The 4th story escapes me. On the weekends within a 7 hour span UM is shown 3 times. :)

Missing Persons: Debra Poe, a convenience store clerk who worked in Orlando, Florida mysteriously vanished while working the graveyard shift. A customer, later reported seeing an unknown man working the register on the night Poe disappeared. Authorities believe the man may have been responsible for Poe's abduction and for the death of two other convenice store clerks who vanished while working the graveyard shift.

Fraud: Yong-Son Kim placed an ad in the newspaper for a roommate and received a response from a mother and a daughter who soon moved in. Wanted: Authorities are searching for "The Satchel Bandit," an aging man who continually robs banks while wearing cheesy disguises. When the bandit struck in Oregon, clues began to pile up and authorities were finally able to identify him as Charles Warren Boomer, a native of British Columbia who is still on the run and robbing banks. The Investigators: An investigative newspaper reporter named Michael Berens went undercover at Ohio truck stops to find the serial killer trucker who is responsible for the deaths of at least eight prostitutes ranging back to 1981. In all cases, the bodies have been dumped along major interstates in Ohio and the bodies have been stripped of clothes and jewelry.

Missing Persons: Judith Himes of Coral Gables, Florida, in 1965 discovered that she was pregnant. She eventually decided to have an illegal abortion but on her way, Himes would mysteriously disappear. Then in 1990, a police captain in Nebraska recieved a mysterious phone call from someone claiming that Judy Himes was still alive and living in Omaha. Includes update. (Aired: January 2, 1991)

Wanted: Authorities are searching for the robber who struck in 1987 at Spokane, Washington bank. The robber struck four more times in Washington and managed to always avoid getting his image captured on film. His image was later captured and has been connected to other bank robberies in Arizona. Wanted: The FBI are searching for a robbery gang suspected in calculated armored-car holdups in Minnesota and Baltimore. In each robbery, the masked gang have easily gotten away with over a billion dollars. (Aired: October 3, 1990)

Unexplained Death: Jesslyn Rich, a guard at Frontera Prison located just south of Los Angeles, California, had disappeared and was later found murdered in 1984. They just showed a case on America's Most Wanted that was from around 1970 and they showed another case from around 20 years ago so at least a few times a year AMW does show cases well over 10 years old so UM stopped airing new shows in 2001, right?

So, there is still a fairly good time frame to keep showing UM for another few years at least and if you do it for just the entertaiment value then you could show it for a lot longer than that.
