I am not looking for sympathy and people saying "ooh im sooo sorry that happened", but I want some of you to give your opinions on what this story could mean.
I really liked this one girl, who I only met in person one time. Last year, she was a grade behind me in school. I found her Myspace and sent her a friend request about a month ago, and she accepted. We talked a little bit and it turned out that I really liked her. I thought about her more than any other person.
That was about a month ago. Now, I don't like her as much anymore for various reasons. One of them is that I don't see her in person and don't know her well enough to go to the movies/mall with her. Also, I know about her, like she gets into fights a lot and that she flirts with a lot of guys. So I sent my friend a message about it, since she knows the girl I liked and she knew I liked her. I said in my message that I stopped liking the other one, mostly because I don't talk to her enough. It actually said "I don't really like Evangeline anymore, I don't know why. Probably because I don't know her in real life. Just thought I'd let you know".
It turns out that the girl the message was about was sitting right there reading it. Either she read the message while my friend got up to do something else, or my friend clicked into the message without knowing what was in it. So then, the one I liked sent me a message and it said "wow your an ass. could you get any more rude?"
I don't know why she would say that. Unless she misunderstood my message. She might have thought that I hate her and that's what I meant by not liking her anymore, or she could have understood what I was really saying. Either way, what reasons would she have from either of those situations to say what she said to me?
Are there any other ways she could have misunderstood my original message? Why would it piss her off? I am hoping someone else will be able to explain it.
