Seriously, I did not really care for the way they killed off Aunt Fran.

And Ellen was a getting a tush tuck.:lol:

I still don't understand why they had to kill her off. They could have just said she moved.

They could have knocked off Ellen too but they didn't. Eunice moved away. I guess killing off Fran made a way to usher in the syndicated years. It also brought in Bubba and Iola.

I dearly love Aunt Fran and hated that her character died when I first saw that episode, but I have to admit, it was brilliantly written and is one of the best episodes of the series.
