It didn't make much sense that Michael was paired up with adults in a singing group. I think it would have made more sense, if it was a group of him and his classmates.

I would think there would be some kind of resentment from the older guys.

But then again, I think since this was the era of the Jacksons and groups being led by younger singers, it was not out of the ordinary.

I was just about to mention The Jackson Five. I was about to say, "What about the Jackson Five? Michael, the youngest was the lead singer(Of the original Jackson five, No Randy yet):) :wave:

maybe they were trying to push Ralph Carters musical talent? like a lot of 1970s sitcoms did with their teen stars.... bradys, partridge, etc

Ralph did have a good voice, even if some of the material wasn't right.
