dirtprod 10-11-2006, 09:11 PM Nice stuff, isn't it?
comedyfreak 10-20-2006, 06:01 AM The best, so crisp and clear.
I wish they'd spent more time in the mansion during the movie. I was just as excited to see it in color as I was the family. They only spent about three minutes of the movie at home. However, I didn't like the cheesy colored spotlights throughout (grandpa's lab had green spotlights, upstairs had blue, the dining room was purple, the living room was pink etc.). There should have been more natural lighting.
Scoobiedoo30 10-21-2006, 02:33 PM Thanks for Shareing The Nice Pictures
Laugh30 10-21-2006, 03:10 PM The different colored lights were probably done specificially for the color movie, because remember the View-master, there weren't those colors in those shots.
No scenes in the kitchen in Munsters Go Home! "Darn, darn, darn." The only color ones I ever seen are in the new book, with Fred Gwynne doing the cereal commercial and a couple I've seen on Ebay with Gwynne working with some ticker tape gadget. In those he's sitting in the same spot, his usual place at the table, so all you see is the kitchen entrance in the background.
But, between the new book and the new DVD release of Munster Go Home, some excellent color references for my colorizing work.
Scoobiedoo30 10-21-2006, 03:15 PM I have never notice that

That's all good to know. I wish they didn't attempt to overdramatize the lighting like that. The mansion looks more like a funhouse with those colors. I also wish they'd shown the kitchen, the bedrooms, and for the movie they could've revealed a new room that hadn't been seen before (like the room to the right of the staircase that always has the door closed). Oh, well...
comedyfreak 10-26-2006, 04:33 AM I just ordered the two movie fright fest and I can't wait to see how it looks on my new 61 inch tv.
dirtprod 10-30-2006, 07:19 PM 61" Sweet!
I have a 48" and it looks great! If you have them hook up the composite video feeds from the DVD player to the new TV. Color is brighter and also crisper. Have fun! :D
My best,
Dirt

Thanks, I'll try it. The movie came in and it does look pretty good, I'm having lots of fun, lol.
dirtprod 04-26-2007, 07:46 PM I suppose it just never came up. There's rooms in the house we never visited, as well. :D
My best,
Dirt
