There was a little cowbell in Guns N Roses song Welcome to the Jungle.

The funny thing is, I never noticed the cowbell in "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" until the SNL sketch. Now, every time I hear the song, the cowbell comes screaming at me and I get a bit chuckle thinking of Will Ferrell, belly hanging out, banging the damn thing. :lol:

I went to a Foo Fighters/Weezer concert last year. The Kaiser Cheifs were the opening act, and during one song they used a cowbell. I don't remember which song it was, but there was a big cheer when the cowbell was brought out.

You know, my boyfriend just bought a 68 Chevy Impala convertible and is going to restore it. We went for a cruise down to Malibu and hit Santa Monica pier. Me and him love the old school songs, so of course when I make CD's, songs like "Summer" are on the them and they make cruising the coast that much more fun. And with this beautiful weather we have, it seems like Summer is still here!:cool: :cool:

There's nothing like those balmy, warm, sunny afternoons in LA. Santa Monica pier is the greatest! :cool:

1: It's not obessive. He's not the drummer, he's percussionist Steve Scales who toured with the Talking Heads in the early 1980s.
