I don't know why, maybe I am getting mixed up with another show, but for some reason I expected to see George being told how much $$$$ it cost him to set up the con to get the money back that Tom lost...seeing them leave in the cadillac and the episode ending like that made me wonder, wasn't there a tag scene where George found out how much he spent????

It probably was, on CBS-lol You should know by now that TV LAND doesn't show TAG scenes-lol

It was probably edited out. The edits that TVLand has done have been painfully obvious. The unnecessary fades, the laugh tracks being cut... They've done a really messy job.

You are probably right because the season 5 eps they showed, they did not show any of the tags. So I guess i have to wait until the DVD comes out or ask someone on the trading Board to send me every CBS ep of the Jeffersons from 1975 to 1985-lol

You saw this on CBS or Columbia House?

I've saw this show when it come on CBS, and I've seen it a few times in syndication before they started with all this editing.

See, that is what I have in my head. I am glad you posted this. It sounds exactly right. That is what I had going thru my head. I love my memory!!!! :D (sometimes...LOL)
