I always thought it was strange they had a bathroom by the entrance door. I have never seen an apartment where a bathroom is in that area.

The only thing I've seen by the entrance door when I walk into a house or apt is a closet to hang up coats and store the vacuum cleaner. Who knows, maybe it's a regional thing.
