season 5 DVD? I just can't get it out of my mind that I will never ever see the full lennth version of that one episode. This wouldn;tbe a big deal if it was a show that wasn;t my favorite but the fact that the Jeffersons is my number one show of all time, i just get so irriated at a INCOMPLETE season being released and promoted as COMPLETE. I hate this, I REALLY REALLY HATE THIS!!!!!!!

I feel for you. I hate the thought of buying the Jeffersons DVD and not seeing complete as I remember back in the 70's. It's practically an insult. I would think when something is released on DVD, we should get THE WHOLE UNEDITED VERSION OF EPISODES...not an opinion, it's a fact we pay for it, we should get it.

I think they think, as long as there are no commercials, we should be happy. It's more than that. I want to see shows the way I saw them BACK IN THE DAYS!!!!!!!

lol, ok I'm calm nowI do not think you are being too picky. If they advertised it as a complete set, then that is what it should be. There is no reason to edit just one episode. It is probably for a stupid reason anyways. But, it is better than nothing.

Nothing is worse than watching Family Matters or Full House on ABC Family because they edit out so much and cut characters off in mid-sentence when they go to a commercial. On Family Matters they also skip the last scene completely and play the extended theme song. WTF??? Use the shorter version of the theme song and put more of the episode in. I would not complain this much but it is the only place I can watch that show because it is not on DVD. I have no idea why.

Yeah I noticed that too....because I have the same episode on tape and the beginning kitchen scene was just a little longer on my tape....I wondered why they did that.

Wait a min, if the kitchen scene is longer than it is on DVD that you have on Tape does that mean it's from CBS? I can't imagine a kitchen scene being longer on a episode from N@N than it is on the DVD
