Archie could really get going and spout off his ignorant opinions. The deeper he got into something, the more ignorant he sounded. When Roseanne got fired up, her intellect and scathing wit got sharper. She would walk circles around Archie.

The interesting question is who would have the last word? They were both too stubborn to back down! :lol:

Great question! I'm not sure who would actually win, all I know is that it would be fun to see any debate between the two....and just for the record, I like Archie better. Though he didn't make much sense most of the time, the man stood firmly to his convictions....yes, I know Rosanne did too, but I just thought Archie was funnier about twisting stuff to where he knew what he meant, regardless if anyone else did or not. Another thing, I can't really recall an episode where I became fed up with Archie as I did with Rosanne. There were times when I thought that Rosanne was an outright bitch, like when she got pregnant that last time and they thought something was wrong with the baby? She was a complete bitch to Dan when thinking and saying it was all HER decision on what happens! She was not fair in father's rights at all, even in Jackie's pregnancy with Fred.....though she finally agreed that Fred had a right to be involved, she was a bitch about that too. Anyway, I have made my point.
