George had a signature walk, sort of a back and forth strut. I often wonder if that walk was stereotypical of blacks, like when bigots refer to blacks "shuffling along." Was his walk stereotypical and insulting to blacks? What do you think?

No because his Son didn't walk like that. George just walked like that because of his new Financial Situation. It was the "I got it and there's no doubt it" WALK

I think he walked like that because he was proud of himself, which he should have been. He made a success out of himself.

My friends in high school would get a kick out of me when I would imitate George and his walk. I loved it. IT WAS GEORGE ALL THE WAY!:lol:

The first time I had seen him walk like that, I was LMAO! which of course was during the opening credits as you pointed out. I never get tired of that walk. :lol:
