There was never any physical evidence found against them. Just that they liked metal and wore band t shirts. All they have is a authority led confession by Jessie Miskelley who is known to be mentally handicapped. I mentioned before, Arkansas is a big boys club. They want to save face and not be wrong. Just as in the Ives/Henry case, they are afraid of the truth coming out. I wished UM would have covered it, besides the HBO documentaries. Has any other True Crime shows profiled it? I hadn't seen any. Brian Damage 08-15-2006, 05:56 PM I believe it was someone else, In my opinion it was John Mark Byers, Christopher's father. I haven't seen the movie since its release, but it struck me as somewhat manipulative - I think the order of some of the trial scenes were presented out of order for effect. I might feel differently if I saw it today. I dropped in on a WM3 site one day and there were definitely some seemingly reasonable people who tend to think the boys are guilty. |
