In yet another attempt to annoy people on the internet, I now have a myspace page. Actually, the page will be about my favorite local watering hole The Gaf, but I'm in charge of the content.

The problem is I know absolutly nothing about Myspace. I have seen a number of pages that look really good, so if anyone has any suggestions on customizing myspace please post.

With MySpace, I follow the "keep it simple" motto, to ensure that the page is easy to navigate and that the text is easy to read. Sure, there's a bit of HTML fudging on my page, as well as a song, but I don't go overboard with a whole lot of flash.

That's my advice. Don't let a whole lot of bells-and-whistles get in the way.

a good site for making your own layout is this one (http://www.strikefile.com/myspace/reborn_3_5.htm). I use it when i can't find a good pre made one. :lol: yeah, still working the bugs out. I have no idea whey the profile says 15. The Gaf is only 7 years old.

You might want to use your own age instead of that of the bar. If MySpace thinks a user is under 16, it automatically sets their profile to private.

Don't get too addicted to it :lol: It's fun as long as you keep yer info protected. Don't add everyone that sends a request, check out their profile first!!!
