In accordance to Access Hollywood, ABC's "The One: Making a Music Star" has been withdrawn (cancelled) from schedule with immediate effect. The reason being that of low ratings.

BTW: did they even pick a winner? Brent88 07-28-2006, 09:28 PM It was a ratings disaster. It's name "The One" fit perfectly because it only got a 1.0 in Adults 18-49, LOL. and no... they didn't pick a winner. That would require people to actually watch(since it was supposed to be voted on by America). It was supposed to air for another month at least, but they couldn't keep it on with such terrible ratings. Ireneparalegal 07-28-2006, 09:45 PM It was a ratings disaster. It's not like anyone's gonna know who they are anyway. Melonhead00 07-29-2006, 02:41 AM Quote the late Kerry Packer: "Get that sh*t off the air" 80sTrivia 07-29-2006, 09:11 AM Not really a surprise that it was cancelled... I feel bad for the contestants, though... SBTB Geek 08-02-2006, 01:49 AM The promo campaign was huge. LOL Couldn't they have even moved it to ABC Family and swap places with "Kyle X/Y." That show is obviously doing well on the major network. |
