Thus far, no one has heard anything. Many of us are waiting on TVLand to start airing the show since they have the rights to it currently.

That would be great! I've seen some the episodes they aired during the marathons but I'd like to see complete seasons. Would be cool if they also showed some episodes from "One In A Million". :tehcool:

TVOne did it a few years ago and I hate I missed it. Hopefully, they may rebroadcast it again. I would make a hell of a perk for the DVD release of Whats Happening Now to include some episodes from One in a Million and by the time season three is released, one would have the entire series (it would work as One in Million was a midseason replacement).

The show only lasted 13 episodes so it would stale very quickly. While I like that TVOne gives one season wonder shows a second life, they have to be mindful that the show gets stale quicker. I would keep all the one season wonder shows for the weekends or give them one night during the week. They could however do a One in a Million marathon on Saturday.

I would have liked to see this spinoff. Shirley leaves Rob's Place to pursue a career in women's professional wrestling (a lifelong dream). You know she was a fan. Remember the episode when she describes what Hulk Hogan was doing to one of his opponents? Something like this. "He picked him up by his legs and started banging his head on the ground like he was drilling for oil!" :lol:

I'm actually surprised that Sony hasn't announced a release date yet. As far as I know, "What's Happening!!" sold relatively well. You would think they would want to capitalize on it and continue with related releases. :confused: Maybe they don't have enough photos to use for coverart. I would think there is stuff in the archives for this. I hope we see a Season 1 release soon.

Thanks mlingerfelt! That's great to hear. Someone had posted in another thread that Sony was concentrating on their game department and were not putting much force behind tv-on-dvd. I'm glad there is hope for more Sony releases.

I just saw that. You know, when it comes down to it. You can post and ask questions as much as you like. You're a welcome member to this board as I am and we have the right to post our interest in shows and questions about release dates. Don't sweat it. We both know we are politely asking questions and making posts about things we are interested in.

Both of yall always ask the same question over and over and over. I want to know when season 5 of Fresh Prince is coming out on DVD but I'm not going to keep asing the same queston constantly. And asking the same question 45 times is not going to make it come out on DVD any faster. Try waiting for someone to post some new information about the show or just go to tvshowsondvd.com and register so that you will be able to hear any possible news. Coming to this board every month asking the same question about a syndicated showcoming out on DVD is silly.

That's right. I'd rather be odd than typical and boring. That word definitely gets a bad rep. It's like going with your own path is a bad thing. I've never been one to see the negative in standing by my own choice. It's the great thing about making a choice. You never have to do it any other way than your own way.

You know, from what I've witnessed on here, you like to argue with people. And that's fine. You also have the freedom to do that. You like to try to convince people that your way is the only way. You always want people to agree with you. It's a heavy responsibility. But I think we can agree that I may not go along with what everyone else will post but I can post freely without having to pass the guidelines of what annoys or doesn't annoy another board member especially when I'm not offending anyone.

Please try to respect other board members. I'd always want to feel welcome to post here and I'd want everyone to feel welcome and not pressured to only post what someone else will agree with. Enjoy posting. :)
