Not the current "E/R", but a sitcom from 1984. George guest starred as one of the character's uncle. Has anyone seen this episode of that show?

Has anyone seen this episode of that show? Way back when it first aired. My memory is bad though because I could almost swear that that Elliot Gould sitcom aired in 1983 not 1984. Anyway, Lynne Moody's nurse character was George's neice. He showed up at the hospital to visit her in the pilot episode. Is this called a spinoff or something else? They used George to introduce viewers to this series, but he was never seen after that. I guess this neice character would've been Gary Coleman's older sister. I thought it was a solid comedy.
