View Full Version : Pistons replace Big Ben by signing Nazr Mohammed to a 5 Year Deal TVFactFan 07-04-2006, 04:44 PM That signing is OK I guess but not that much of a come up on the defensve end but certainly on the offensive end Bobby F. 07-04-2006, 06:32 PM That signing is OK I guess but not that much of a come up on the defensve end but certainly on the offensive end Wasn't he spending most of his time on the end of the Spurs bench during the playoff??? TVFactFan 07-04-2006, 07:22 PM Wasn't he spending most of his time on the end of the Spurs bench during the playoff??? YES-lol Brian Damage 07-04-2006, 09:02 PM That strengthens up their bench, not replace Wallace. TVFactFan 07-04-2006, 09:22 PM That strengthens up their bench, not replace Wallace. Nazr will be the starting center, he didn't get a 5 year deal to come off the bench-lol D.J. 07-04-2006, 09:56 PM The Pistons are no longer a threat to the Nets. The first time I can say that since 2001. Brian Damage 07-04-2006, 10:11 PM Nazr will be the starting center, he didn't get a 5 year deal to come off the bench-lol I know they signed him with the intent of being their starting center, but he couldn't get that job done when he was a Knick and he damn sure won't do it with Detroit. TVFactFan 07-04-2006, 11:56 PM I know they signed him with the intent of being their starting center, but he couldn't get that job done when he was a Knick and he damn sure won't do it with Detroit. Well He probably will give them more offense at that position Brian Damage 07-05-2006, 10:53 AM Well He probably will give them more offense at that position That's possible, but the Pistons success was always predicated on their stellar defense. TVFactFan 07-05-2006, 03:36 PM That's possible, but the Pistons success was always predicated on their stellar defense. The Fact that they struggled with Ben wallace lets me know they will not be in the 2nd round of the playoffs next season Stormtracker TF 07-05-2006, 03:40 PM Even though the Pistons are not a contender next season, I think that they can still compete into the second round. Nazr Mohammed is crap and I don't really like this signing, but then again, it's not like the Pistons had much of a choice and we ARE talking about replacing Ben Wallace... Brian Damage 07-05-2006, 03:40 PM The Fact that they struggled with Ben wallace lets me know they will not be in the 2nd round of the playoffs next season The Pistons were exposed last year. A lot of teams will no longer be intimidated by them so I agree with you. hatwink 07-12-2006, 01:28 PM There was probably a lot of inner turmoil within the team, but stick a fork in them, they are done. |
