Some things are better left unsaid. I'm not the jealous type, but something like that might get the hair on the back of my neck to stand up. If the woman has no interest in the guy, throw the flowers away and be done with it.

If there is a romantic intention from him I would definitely throw them away. If it is unwanted from the said female co-worker, then I would definitely say something to the Human Resources department. I would probably tell my husband, because we don't keep secrets from each other.

Then there's the 2nd reason - a romantic intention. If I were the husband in this situation, personally, I don't think I'd want to know under THOSE circumstances. Throw them away, deal with the situation, and leave me blissfully ignorant.

I'd probably tell my husband. Like, "Can you believe this guy at work? He knows I'm happily married, yet he has the nerve to send me flowers." Unless my husband was the type to go find this guy and beat him into the next decade.

I'd give the flowers away to some other co-worker. No sense in wasting good flowers. Plus nothing says I'm not interested like finding the flowers you gave someone on someone else's desk.

There are guys who just "lose" it and think by sending flowers or doing a nice gesture, etc. they have a chance. if i see someone gay bashing someone, or calling black people racial slurs, or calling women B**** or using the F word over and over---- its wrong

You might have reasonable intentions, but I find is so hard to believe that magically every member ont he trading board that has had a rough history w/ Solomon magically comes over here, all at the asme time, all with the same rant.

I am in no way defending what solomon did/does/said/says. He was wrong, out of line,a nd others that did what he did probably would have got much more severe, and public punishement. However, forming a lynch mob against him is just as wrong.

I commented because when Solomon on the trading foreum decided to make a fool of himself and it was pointed out to him, two moderators Brian and I walk the line rushed up to defend him. We were told they were defending Solomon. Savage was told posts should be deleted and the members were way out of line. Where are Solomon's defenders now?. I'm waiting to hear how Solomon is being picked on. Yes Brian and walk the line, I would like to hear from you.

if i see a scammer posting on the PATTY DUKE Page, i post the facts and warn people

if i see someone gay bashing someone, or calling black people racial slurs, or calling women B**** or using the F word over and over---- its wrong
and its ALL of our business as members of the boards---we all have a DUTY and a RESPONSIBILITY to follow the rules and to help keep the boards safe and fair---- if we just look the other way when someone (ESPECIALLY A LONG TERM MEMBER) violates those rules, then we are part of the problem

im sorry, but ANYTIME i see abuses of the rules and violations as flagrant as this, i will speak out, i will report the posts to the moderators and/or TJ himself and i will call a spade a spade

thats whats wrong here, people like someone, so they overlook it when he breaks the rules over and over and thumbs his nose at the mods and the rules and the rest of us who DO follow the rules

I didn't think it was right either. I like both Irene and Solomon., but if it happened in the trading board I would say fire away, but since it happened here I think you just wanted to see him go. That might not be the case for you guys but that is just how I am seeing it. I know there are no walls on a message board so I know you can leave and enter when you want but if it was someone other than Solomon I don't think you would care or at least you wouldn't post anything about it. If it was a non trader I don't think you would either. Again I can't read your mind but this is just how it appears to me. That is all I have to say about that.

Possibly you forgot last week when Brian and I walk the line rushed up to lead the defense. Haven't seen them since.

I commented because when Solomon on the trading foreum decided to make a fool of himself and it was pointed out to him, two moderators Brian and I walk the line rushed up to defend him. We were told they were defending Solomon. Savage was told posts should be deleted and the members were way out of line. Where are Solomon's defenders now?. I'm waiting to hear how Solomon is being picked on. Yes Brian and walk the line, I would like to hear from you.

Exactly. Besides I was taking care of matters PRIVATELY...just because you don't see things happening here on the board, doesn't mean nothing is being done.

And to msOrange I apologize 100% - your right I had started a thread, and it was only going to lead to trouble and I removed it immedately due to that.

Just my thoughts on this, I like you guys Harvey Savage and Lamont, but I just don't think this was any of you guys' business. Whenever something happens in the trading board you don't see regular members from outside of there budding in.


GF if you actually take some time to think about this you will know that this is untrue. For the most part I would say that things stay out of each others boards but Solomon in particular seems to have a habit of hit and run tactics where he will drop a few barbs and then sit back and watch the fireworks.

Many times he has jumped over to our board and when he gets called on something we have tons of his people jump in and hijack the thread. Now this may seem like the same thing in reverse and perhaps some of it is.

I can only speak for myself and not the rest of TP but I got in this thread because I echo the statement s of some of your members who have already spoken up. Most others users would be suspended for the language and PM attacking that was done but Solomon seems to get a free pass for his actions everytime regardless of which board he is on (50,000 posts should not give you a free pass)

I truly hope his ass gets banned!! I'm sure he won't, but he should be. I don't care what anyone thinks about me saying this, people bite their tongues too much when it comes to him, cause they know he's popular, and people will jump all over them if they say something, but I say **** that!!!

Solomon crosses the line continually and will continue to do so until there a repercussions. Saying your sorry does not always make things right and certainly does not excuse your actions
