Dorms are awesome for maybe the first week. Then you feel like you are in a prison cell (at least I did anyway.) I'm so excited for my apartment this year.

Yeah....There's like two other people on our floor plus the RA. These two girls from the floor above us came down and introduced themselves.

Haha, I bet my old room was bigger than yours. I don't remember what the exact measurements were, but it was HUGE. Probably something like 12 x 30 or maybe even bigger than that. I didn't mind the cleanup at all...I actually HAD room to move around to clean, unlike my pathetic excuse of a bedroom.

In my old bedroom, I had:

- A complete computer setup (desk, computer, all the accessories and the chair)
- Swivel rocking chair
- Treadmill
- Two dressers, side-by-side
- My mom's trunk
- My bed
- Misc. wicker boxes that used to be my sister's
- Nightstand
- TV and entertainment center
- Mom's bookshelf

And I still had a LOT of room to spare. I could've fit a mini-fridge and maybe put in a toilet in my old room, too.

See this pic? It's an old webcam pic I took of myself, back in early 2002 when I was a junior in HS. You can see the bookshelf right behind me (on the left). The pole thing is the floor lamp I used to have. You can't really see it, but the treadmill is there too, right where my head is. And there's my bed in the back- waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay on the other end of the room. Holy ****... My hair. Why did I style it like that? :lol:

Oh, and I found another webcam pic from late 2002, and this time I was a senior in HS. This time you can see part of the treadmill, and the bookshelf is gone. Again, you can see how far away the back wall is :lol:

So after reading about colleges for like 76857906358908 hours last night, I've decided that my best bet for a school is Marymount. I know it's far, but I've heard the audition process is comfortable and not scary like other schools and it's much easier to get into than anything else. It just seems so right for me.
