I finished writing the book for the stage musical I've be developing for awhile. It took me months to think of the plot, structure and character developement and about a month to come up with lyrics. Of course it needs some additions and revisions, but all writing always needs that. I'm just glad I am finished with the bulk of it.

Ah, that's great. Good luck! I'm not a professional writer or anything, but back when I wasn't too lazy to write, it was always an awesome feeling to finish something and go back and read it.

I got the idea from watching the British House of Commons on CSPAN and reading about Parliaments in the Carribean. It deals mostly with what happens behind closed doors and the personal struggles and infighting that go on, but also the public aspect.

As a fellow writer, let me give you a good piece of advice...GET IT COPYRIGHTED!!! If you don't, someone can easily steal your idea and there would be practically nothing you can do about it. I am not sure where you live, but check out both the WGA east and WGA west. (Writers Guild Of America) I am a member and got my stuff copyrighted by the Guild.
