View Full Version : Why does it seems like all restaurants have these choices for beverages?
TVFactFan 05-12-2006, 10:43 AM Coke
Diet Coke
Ginger Ale
Sprite
I never hear that they have flavors such as Grape Pineapple, Orange, Rootbeer, or Mountain Dew
Never understood that

Grape Pineapple?
gilligan fanatic 05-12-2006, 10:49 AM Mountian Dew wouldn't be with the Coke since Mountian Dew is a Pepsi Product. As long as they have my Diet Coke I am fine.
Grape Pineapple, what about Orange Apple
TVFactFan 05-12-2006, 10:59 AM Grape Pineapple?
I forgot to put the comma after Grape-lol
Dutabi84 05-12-2006, 11:02 AM As long as they have my Diet Coke I am fine.
Cheers to that.
I doubt they have all those other strange flavored drinks, because I doubt they would sell very well. I do see rootbeer often enough, though.

It's partly a regional thing. I've NEVER seen Ginger Ale as an option where I live. I do always see "Dr. Pepper" listed as a choice here. Good thing because I love Dr. Pepper.
I remember when I vacationed at Huntington Beach and San Diego in 2002. Man.... I was appalled that some restaurants I visited had NO Dr. Pepper. I wasn't happy....What was up with that?? But yeah, that would be something regional.

I forgot to add Dr. Pepper to the List
moeee 05-12-2006, 12:34 PM They never have Fruit Punch either.
TVFactFan 05-12-2006, 12:36 PM They never have Fruit Punch either.
That would be much better than Dr. Pissper-LOL
Stormtracker TF 05-12-2006, 12:40 PM I have only been to a few restaurants that didn't have root beer. I love root beer.
Unfortunetly, alot of places here don't serve Coke because they only have "Pepsi Products". For some reason they always have Root Beer, though.
~LadyJess~ 05-12-2006, 12:44 PM My big issue is with places that only have Minute Maid Lite lemonade and not regular lemonade. To me that's like serving only diet pop and for someone who doesn't drink carbonated beverages and doesn't like the lite lemonade, that gets on my nerves.
EmoJoe 05-12-2006, 03:08 PM there's usually a vary here, but i hate when places don't have orange.
TVFactFan 05-12-2006, 03:12 PM Sprite is the worst
dlemond 05-12-2006, 03:17 PM Most restaurants also have iced tea.
They always have unsweetened, but I assume they have the sweet kind too.

That's what I have when I go out. I do know the restaurants around here have Mountain Dew because I used to have it all the time.

That's when I grab all the sugar packets from the table and dump them inside the cup.:D
dawsongirl 05-12-2006, 10:26 PM Good thing because I love Dr. Pepper.
Me too!
As long as there's Coke, Pepsi, or Dr. Pepper, I'm fine. The places around here are either Coke places or Pepsi places. I've seen Dr. Pepper at both.
Sargent Stewie 05-14-2006, 05:43 PM Sprite is the worst

moeee 05-14-2006, 08:43 PM Ive noticed some resturants carry Hi-C drinks as well.
