His Momma gave him two tickets to a Stevie Wonder concert and he was undecided who to give the other ticket to. Instead of taking a friend and hurting the other friend's feelings, why didn't he ask a girl?

View Full Version : Raj was weird in this episode Brian Damage 04-26-2006, 08:30 PM His Momma gave him two tickets to a Stevie Wonder concert and he was undecided who to give the other ticket to. Instead of taking a friend and hurting the other friend's feelings, why didn't he ask a girl? I know. I thought that was strange. I guess he didn't want both friends to be mad at him then. CindyRoxiesLair2006 04-27-2006, 07:01 PM It would've definitely made much more sense for Raj to take a girl to that concert, as opposed to going the route that he ultimately did... :p That's totally agreed with & understood.  TVFactFan 04-27-2006, 10:09 PM I know. If anything, Dee would've blabbed. lol Mr. Television 04-27-2006, 10:27 PM They never left him alone. They were always with him. Ireneparalegal 04-27-2006, 11:23 PM His Momma gave him two tickets to a Stevie Wonder concert and he was undecided who to give the other ticket to. Instead of taking a friend and hurting the other friend's feelings, why didn't he ask a girl? another question, why is it Mabel kept saying THEY AREN'T YOUR TICKETS TO SELL????? Did the lady not GIVE THEM TO MABEL???? Once that transfer has taken place, they no longer belong to that lady...Mabel gave them to Raj. And for Raj to want to sell them and treat his friends rather than hurt their feelings (assuming he wasn't smart enough to ask a girl) there was nothing wrong with that. Mama pissed me off in this episode everytime she kept saying that THEY AREN'T YOURS TO SELL! retrochick9 04-27-2006, 11:28 PM I had 2 best friends in high school and the 3 of us were together constantly like Raj, Rerun, and Dwayne. I would've been upset if I was left out of something, lol. You're all right, he should've asked a girl to go. But, selling the tickets was a good idea too, a real friend! CindyRoxiesLair2006 05-29-2006, 09:41 AM The Two friends didn't even have to know he went to a concert-lol Exactly! Great point made on THIS one, TVResearcher/Solomon!! ;) Neither Dwayne nor Rerun had to know about Raj going to a concert at all, even though they always dropped by the house and so forth. Raj could've asked a girl out to the concert, and that probably would've been the end of the whole storyline idea...WHO KNOWS???  :happyface TVFactFan 05-29-2006, 11:58 AM Exactly! He was supposed to be this smart guy but didn't have enough sense to know that you don't choose between two friends when it comes to only ONE ticket to a concert CindyRoxiesLair2006 05-29-2006, 02:20 PM Exactly, that was one of the low moments of Raj in this series. Sad, but it's all good though... LOL. :happyface   everett552 05-30-2006, 11:20 AM His Momma gave him two tickets to a Stevie Wonder concert and he was undecided who to give the other ticket to. Brian Damage 05-30-2006, 11:23 AM He probably didn't have a girlfriend at the time to take to the concert which left Rerun and Dwayne. Raj really never had a girlfriend on the show, but he was chasing after them in a few. He didn't need a girlfriend, just a girl to take to the concert. TVFactFan 05-30-2006, 11:25 AM He probably didn't have a girlfriend at the time to take to the concert which left Rerun and Dwayne. Then he should have took Dee-lol Brian Damage 05-30-2006, 11:31 AM Then he should have took Dee-lol ...or ask Shirley! lol MikeLutton 05-31-2006, 04:58 AM or take Mama GSU2004 05-31-2006, 09:45 AM It would've definitely made much more sense for Raj to take a girl to that concert, as opposed to going the route that he ultimately did... :p That's totally agreed with & understood.  True, a better plot line would have been having some girls be all nice to Raj so they could simply go to the concert with him but sure enough what they used was still funny. everett552 05-31-2006, 10:54 AM Then he should have took Dee-lol Mom wasn't having it remember? Dee practically begged Mabel to let her go but because of the time the concert supposedly had let out, Raj end up having to flip a coin to see which friend he was going to take since he had only 1 extra ticket. |
