This is cool! (Maybe this was already mentioned.) I rented a Disc of Alf (Season 2) and I'm watching the episode "Tequila" and it was good (I didn't think too much about it until half-way through.) Half way through the show, something looked familiar (and a little odd.) It was Dorothy playing a college friend of the mom!! Her character (hair and voice and mannerisms) were TOTALLY different from Mama's Family. Her hair was great...at times her voice was familiar but still different. It must have been refreshing for her to play a different character (while doing Mama's Family). It's funny because in the Alf episode, there was a reference to ALL MY CHILDREN - didn't Dorothy play a part in that in the 70s? Also, in a Mama's Family episode, there was a reference to Alf :D

I remember when Naomi was on ALF I think she played Kate Best Friend on ALF

It would be neat to see her portray new mannerisms and voice other than the ones I've become acustom to. Outside MF, I haven't seen any of Dorothy's other work.

BTW, I check IMDB and her character for that episode was listed as Maura Norris.

I don't remember what it's called, but she plays a police officer I believe.

Yes, she was! Also I saw Ken Berry on an episode of the Golden Girls. He played a guy named Thor Anderson- Rose's old boyfriend. I guess they both had loose contracts.
