The voice of the AFLAC duck has been named the Unsexiest Man in the World.

Comedian Gilbert Gottfried tops the list compiled by the Boston Phoenix's Web site. The list is a mix of entertainers, sports stars, even terrorists. Osama bin Laden is number eight on the list.

Of Gottfried, the Phoenix says "The parrot-voiced, pickled-face comic is to sexy what Kryptonite is to Superman."

The alternative weekly's number-two choice might reveal their Boston Red Sox hometown bias: The choice is New York Yankee pitcher Randy Johnson.

The list fills out the top five with media personalities Roger Ebert, Dr. Phil, and Alan Colmes.

Others on the unsexy list include Michael Jackson, Jerry Seinfeld, Ron Howard, and Clay Aiken. Of Aiken, the runner-up to Ruben Studdard on "American Idol 2," the site snarks "he still looks like someone's bratty little brother."

Other musicians show up on the list as well. Nickelback's Chad Kroeger gets dissed for "massive head, weird face, and bad hair," as well as for simply being in Nickelback, which the magazine calls "the worst band since the dawn of music." And My Chemical Romance member Gerard Way is labeled the "luckiest dude since Ringo."

Britney Spears' husband Kevin Federline ranks 99th, with the comment "Mooching hicks aren't so hot these days."

Sneaking in at number 100 is Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt? He made the list because of rumors about bad hygiene.

Perhaps all the ugliness made the writers exhausted — about halfway through the article, they simply start listing names, sans commentary, for many of the men.

Phoenix readers are having their own say by commenting on the online article. Not all of them are thrilled with the choices or the methodology.

Says one "There is 1 major problem with this list, 2 GUYS WROTE IT! Why are 2 guys writing the '100 most unsexy men list'?" Says another "First of all, Kevin Federline should be #1."

Some of the choices are kind of odd. It's pretty freakin halarious that they thought of Osama Bin Laden.

Yeah, that one made me laugh too. LOL!! It's kind of hard for me to take this poll too seriously since it was put together by two guys, but who knows, they might be gay guys, in which case, I guess that would qualify them.

Kind of funny how Brad Pitt made the list, yet Howard Stern didn't. :lol: Also, I thought Al Franken and Michael Moore would be higher up, but what do I know, I'm a straight guy.

Some of the guys on the list I've never heard of before. I can't believe there's a person that's actually named Meat Loaf. I wonder if his parents were hungry when they named him.

:lol: You haven't heard of Meatloaf?? He's a singer who was really popular in the 70's, and made a comeback in the early 90's. I'm not totally sure on this, but I think Meatloaf is just his stage name. Here's a couple pictures of him. The second one is the more recent one.

I like Dr. Phil...he has charm and intelligience and a sense of humor. Those things I love in a man.

Iv'e heard alot of women say that Kevin James, and Dr. Phil are sexy. Even Leah Remini, (James co star on King of Queens) has been quoted as saying she finds him sexy. They showed pictures of him as a younger guy on the show once, and he was actually an athlete, and really good looking in his younger days. I haven't heard many people say that about Drew Carey, but my mom also thinks he's hot, so you're not alone on that one.

It would be more interesting for me to see a list like this that was put together by a woman. Like I said, it's just hard for me to take this list seriously since it was put together by guys. LOL!! I do agree with alot of the choices, but some just make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Yes. i wonder if these guys are gay? still, the point is WHAT IS SEXY? some women are picky, some women are choosy, some women go for looks, some women like me love humor and intelligience and of course, he has to have it going on in the bedroom scene. ;)

The bald guy with the glasses is Mark Pender. La Bamba is the one with the mustache and always wears the hat. He's not in that picture. Here's La Bamba! Not that great of a picture; but it'll work.
