Does anyone know if there are any plans to release the 13 Lucy and Desi Comedy Hour on DVD?

No news have been released yet. I hope that during the Jamestown conventions some details are released since Greg O is going to be there.

Gregg Oppenheimer told me about a week ago that there are still no plans yet, but he thinks CBS will produce it...I don't think he's sure about producing the Comedy Hours at the moment. :)

The bonus material for the Comedy Hours could be spectacular! Think about it: original animated openings, the cast commericals, Westinghouse-Desilu Playhouse footage from the shows, all specials unedited as aired, and a 75-minute version of "Lucy Takes A Cruise To Havana!" And what's even better is that all 13 could be released in one package.

To me, that's the only way it can. 4 episodes per DVD release wouldn't be worth it.

That would be great I hope they decide to stick it on DVD.
