Yesterday, they showed the story of Irvin Freeman, the man who wanted to find his "foster" daughter, Jean Ann. He and his wife tried to adopt her but her bio-parents got her back after two years. There was no update.
What bothered me the most -- other than this poor man probably went to his grave looking for her -- is that SURELY he knew her family's name. Privacy in 1943 wasn't what it is today in family courts, and since they had at least two hearings, he had to have known her bio-parents's names.
But they never gave them. I wonder if UM refused to use their names.
