I thought Mr. Romano seemed to be a nice guy. He clearly seemed like he cared for Ann and the girls. I think he was bit older for Ann, so I think that is why she felt she needed to be on her own. She probably outgrew him. I thought at first maybe he beat her and the girls or did something bad.

Mr. Romano would be Ann's father, the girls last name was Cooper, so the ex hubby's' name was Ed Cooper...Ann inisisted on using her maiden name! :crazy: (Romano!)
