I recall the program from my childhood. Even back then, I remember the remarkable cast extended even to guest stars with bit parts. In season one, the duo had quite their advertising job out of pride and met a homeless man, disheveled, sitting on a sidewalk. Upon hearing their plight his response, with a Shakesperean timbre to his voice I might add:
"Right on fella! I did the same thing once me' self. I told the chairman of the board, 'if you want Dan Fluter, you know where you can find him.' That was thirty years ago...and I can't wait to see the look on his face when he comes crawling back.'"
That fabulous line and rediculously ideal philosophy have been a running joke in our family for years!
