The dance that he was always doing on the show was called the "SLOP DANCE". This was something I found out from a co-worker and after trying to confirm it on the Internet it was defintely the Slop Dance. No one could Slop better than George-lol

I did know that he taught himseld how to dance by watching American Bandstand in the 50's

Yeah he kept it a secret from the guys he was in the gang with that he was learning how to dance from watching american bandstand

I always wondered about that dance that George did so well, that was also very humorous to just about all who observed/watched!!! Cool fact to know and bring up!!!
