View Full Version : Mass. Gay Bar Attack Suspect Dies
theshark8777 02-05-2006, 11:50 AM GASSVILLE, Ark. — A teenager wanted in a hatchet-and-gun attack on patrons of a Massachusetts gay bar died Sunday morning at a Missouri hospital after he was critically wounded in a gun battle with Arkansas police.
Jacob D. Robida, 18, died at 3:38 a.m. Sunday at Cox-South Hospital in Springfield, Arkansas State Police spokesman Bill Sadler said.
Robida was injured after he shot and killed a small-town police officer in Gassville on Saturday and a West Virginia woman in his car was killed before a shootout at Norfork ended with Robida's arrest, authorities said.
Robida was shot twice in the head and "it doesn't look good right now," Massachusetts prosecutor Paul Walsh Jr. said Saturday.
Dean Winchester 02-05-2006, 02:27 PM what a shame.... it would've been nice for that little ****face to go to prison and be bunked with "Bubba"
Reminds me of the old Chris Rock monologue after Mathew Shepard's killers were sentenced to prison, saying that they should've thought twice about beating him, because if they were afraid of being near gay men before, now in prison they're gonna be everybody's bitch, and then everyone in the audience cheered

I kinda agree with that, but this saves us all that money of a trial and the money it would have cost to keep him in prison.
BTW: here is his myspace account: http://www.myspace.com/jakejekyll
Dean Winchester 02-05-2006, 03:36 PM that's true, reading his Myspace, I am glad he's dead, Neo-Nazi piece of ****
Janice 02-05-2006, 03:39 PM Good riddance to him. It's just a shame that two other people had to die.
Polniaczek033 02-05-2006, 03:41 PM ahhhhhh that kid sucks!

I agree, I wonder if that was their brother or uncle or something that he killed, that they would be mourning how "misunderstood" he was.
Dean Winchester 02-05-2006, 03:56 PM I love it when a lot of my friends wonder why I don't do the "scene" very much (aka gay clubs and bars), incidents like this are precisely the reason. I just hope somebody retaliates by going into one of the skinhead clubs and opening fire on them.

Well now, I think that is a little extreme.

well, gays are always supposed to be made uncomfortable and never allowed a place where we can just be ourselves without hinderence... you never see the Nazi hangouts getting disturbed by people who disagrees with the way they live. Tit-for-tat. And seriously, who the **** still likes ICP (I noticed he was dressed up like a member of ICP)? they were popular around the time that Spice Girls and Hanson were big!!!

Probably because everyone knows the Nazis will kill you without thinking twice.
ICP has been "popular" since the early 90's. They are underground. They were "barely" mainstream for a short while.

agreed.
and ICP makes me want to die.

Yeah ICP is still fairly popular, not mainstream. They had the gathering of the Juggalos about 15 minutes from me in Nelson, Ohio the last 2 years. I don't know if they are coming back this year or not.
*MIBabe03* 02-05-2006, 04:52 PM Yeah, good ridance to a piece of crap.

Well if they come back to Nelson Ledges, I'll let you know. Get your B52 fueled up.

hahaha... I am just still baffled they didn't go the way of Vanilla Ice and become criminally unpopular? I thought it was over for them when they were on Howard Stern like in 98 and everyone called in telling them they sucked. That's why it was shocking to see that neonazi worshipping them

Vanilla Ice played at the Gathering of the Jugglos in Nelson one year. They filmed some of the Remaking: Vanilla Ice there. They even show the famous hot dog shop in Warren.
Dean Winchester 02-05-2006, 05:12 PM oh, no wonder then, if they also worship Vanilla Ice there, all things go. Do they worship Gerardo too, or do they hate him since he's not white, and neo-nazis don't like those who aren't white?

Hmm, I don't remember Gerado playing there.

well if my best friend died after killing someone in that manner, even if it were someone i loved, i would want her to rest in peace as well. i would be ashamed of what she did and believe that death is what she deserves, but i would love her just as much because she meant a lot to me and made a huge positive impact on my life. i wouldn't disregard my appreciation for everything she's done for me over a completely unrelated thing she did at the end of her life, no matter how horrible it is.
May Officer Jim Sell rest in peace.
lockdown06 02-06-2006, 02:37 PM ICP has wrote several songs against racism. If this kid was a real Neo-Nazi, he wouldn't listen to any rap music. Why would someone who hates blacks listen to black music by white people?????
Plus, I saw nothing on his site that said he was affiliated with Nazis at all, all I saw was silly internet tests which showed that he was very racist.
seventies_sitcoms 02-06-2006, 03:17 PM Good. Another piece of s___ is removed from the face of the Earth. What a waste of a human being. Loser.

I know they say you can't solve violence with violence, but it would be nice to see that happen! :)
Dean Winchester 02-06-2006, 04:44 PM Probably because everyone knows the Nazis will kill you without thinking twice.
not trying to be rude, but are you defending them?
if you notice, Jacob walked into a "gay bar", the type that probably has mostly divas playing and has drag night, the type of place that usually the more passive-feminine gay men frequent. I am willing to bet if he even stepped one foot in a leather/bear gay club, he would've gotten the **** beaten out of him the second he even reached for his machete... you don't mess with bears.
lockdown06 02-06-2006, 06:44 PM I don't even know what a bear is...niether do I. I am not defending Nazis, or Neo-Nazi at all. They are idiotic. I just know where my place is. And I know that I wouldn't want to pick a fight with one when there is a bunch.

bears are the really big biker/wrestler/bouncer muscle-bound gay men, usually with some sort of facial hair (basically imagine a gay John Goodman). They are the type of people that you wouldn't want to call a *** if you don't expect to get beaten up for it. If Jacob had walked into one of their gay hangouts (there's usually different gay hangout bars, the bears usually go to their own places), I am willing to bet he wouldn't have killed two because bears are usually very tough and strong and masculine, totally what a lot of people don't think of gays as being and he would not have made it out alive if he opened fire there like he did at the more "cliche" gay bar he went to.
Arkansas police are now saying Robida shot himself in the head instead of officers shooting
him. Forensic evidence further shows that no police bullets penetrated the car.

What a big brave boy he was  *****.
BOSTON, Massachusetts (AP) -- The teenager accused of going on a rampage at a gay bar and later killing two people fatally shot himself in the head in a gunfight with Arkansas police, authorities said Tuesday.
Jacob Robida, 18, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, turned the gun on himself Saturday after he fatally shot a West Virginia woman who was in his car, said Bristol County, Massachusetts, District Attorney Paul Walsh Jr.
Police originally said that they shot Robida on Saturday after he fired at them at the end of a high-speed chase in Arkansas. Authorities say Robida killed Gassville, Arkansas, police officer Jim Sell and led police on a 20-mile chase before being stopped in nearby Norfork.
Police had searched for Robida since early Thursday, when they say he used a hatchet and handgun to wound three men at the Puzzles Lounge in New Bedford.
Walsh said two of his investigators are in Arkansas and reviewed Robida's autopsy report.
Walsh said Robida's autopsy proved that he was killed by the same gun used in the bar attack. He said that gun also fired the bullet that killed Jennifer Rena Bailey, 33, an acquaintance Robida had picked up after fleeing Massachusetts.
Robida was shot just once, and Walsh said it was his understanding that no police bullets penetrated the car.
Walsh said the suicide confirms his early suspicion that Robida remained dangerous.
"He was prepared not to come out of this alive," he said.
Police in Massachusetts, who are investigating whether Robida had an accomplice in the bar attack, searched Robida's room and discovered a handwritten note in which Robida bid his mother goodbye and suggested he would again resort to violence.
The contents of the note were not released. It was unclear whether Robida left the note before or after the nightclub attack.
Robida also had a small cache of weapons with him as he fled southwestward, an Arkansas prosecutor said. Investigators said they don't know why he and Bailey fled toward Arkansas, about 1,200 miles from New Bedford.
