I know this isn't a standout episode but I always enjoyed an episode of any show when there is trouble in the workplace.

I didn't know they had restaurant chains in the 19th century. Was it hard for anybody to think that they would really sell the restaurant to a chain in the year 18 something? They even made them wear Mrs. Sullivan green aprons and decorate the business in green.

They also got their history all messed up too! I like it when we are supposed to believe that Colonel Sanders offers Mrs. Olson a chance to change the reataurant to a Kentucky Fried Chicken in the 19th century!!!!!!

I always thought Mrs. Sullivan's chocolate cake looked tasty!!!

I know, but at least it was better than the Taco Bell chihuahua showing up in Walnut Grove.

I like that episode, too - one of the more lighthearted ones in the overly-somber eighth season.

When did the Taco Bell Dog show up? I never saw that. I did like the Mrs. Sullivan episode.

not one of my fave episodes.

was there really chains in that era??? I mean, it seems impossible that in that day and age there would be chains of restaurants.

I think the Fred Harvey restaurants in the late 1800s were the beginning of dining franchises.

So it would not have been implausible at this era of the show.

This is my favorite episode. The Pan Fried steak,Roast Chicken, and Beef stew looked good,so did Mrs.Sullivan's very own Chocolate cake.
