What all would you include?

As for me:

I would release them in Two Volumes.

Volume 1
The package would look like a row of lockers. The first "Locker" would contain "Good Morning, Miss Bliss: The Complete Series". Aside from the 13 episodes, it would also include the unaired pilot episode. All of the episodes would include the original opening credits. The DVD would also include brand new interviews with Haley Mills, Dennis Haskins, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Lark Voorhies, Dustin Diamond, Heather Hopper and Max Battimo. Another bonus would be all of the Zack openings made for syndication. Those are optional to watch with the episodes. It would be a two disc set.

That's Volumes 1 & 2 or you could buy both together (the original series gets red lockers, while the new class gets orange lockers). It would cost an awful lot, though. However, if you did buy them both together, you'd get two free comic books. One from the original class and one from the new class (Season 1's cast).

I don't think there could be any improvement over what you've come up with. Only thing I would add is a nice, detailed booklet for each volume/locker with episode summaries, original airdates and tons of pictures. I know there were alot of promotional shoots and I'd like to see some more of the rare photos of all the casts.

By the way, you should seriously consider getting into dvd set producing with your ideas.

That's a great idea. I've never thought of that before. I know some of these shows need a good fan to be working for them. For example "Sliders". The DVDs kind of suck. And the order of the episodes are Broadcast order. However, if you watch "Sliders" you know that Production Order is the way to go. Broadcast order screws up the storyline. If a fan worked there, he/she could mention "Here's the fan prefered order." or something like that.

BTW, I really wish they would re-release "Saved by the Bell" the way I have it listed there. Plus with your booklet idea.

Just for the record: Saved by the Bell comics really exist. Although I havent seen one since 1994. The last issue I read, had the first season of "The New Class" in it.

Yeah, at the very least companies should take on one or two serious fans of a series as consutants when putting dvd sets together, if they want to make their product more appealing to the fans who buy them. Reading some of the ideas you've come up with for various releases, I wish you were in charge of some of them.

I never knew any SBTB comic books existed.

Yeah. Not many, maybe five or six. The first few were from the senior year of the original class. The last couple were from the first season of the new class. Then they just dissappeared. I haven't been able to find them online or anything. But I remember owning a couple back in the day.

I have been able to find old novels from "The New Class." There are a few from seasons one and two. They're selling those at Amazon.

BTW, if a company did decide to go with MY order for any of the shows, I'd check and re-check the order before giving it to them. I'd hate to get the DVD and watch it and notice an error I made. :)
