I think if they would ever remake the munsters, Brad Garriet of ELR fame would be the right person to play Herman, he's the only actor out today that I see a lot of Fred Gwelyn in.:)

He certainly has the height (he wouldn't even need the special shoes that Fred Gwynne wore to add to his height). And his facial expressions are pretty funny. I remember seeing Brad Garrett's stand-up routine back in the 80's; in his act, he used to refer to himself as the illegitimate son of Herman Munster and Greg Brady.
