View Full Version : Dudes: Post here what you want girls/women to know so they can learn...
- It freaks us out when you burst into tears in a public place. But, since we try to be gentlemen, we'll do what we can to comfort you. However,if we are not dating you or married to you, you are only allowed to cry on our shoulder about whatever is troubling you once. That's it.
- If you are in a relationship or married, you are obligated to mention that to the guy you have struck up a conversation with in some random place within the first ten minutes. Nothing is more of a letdown than when you mention your "boyfriend" after we've chatted you up for an hour and just bought you a second drink.
- If we allow you to drag us to an art gallery/museum/Kate Hudson movie we are in love with you. Grab us while you can.

Michael [hXc] 01-05-2006, 09:04 PM to build off of the first one TJL said-
we are all different, but you know that if you don't complain and whine and act overly dramatic about your troubles and problems tp us, we won't do that to you. if you have some sort of problem/crisis, don't cry and complain to us and expect us to stop our lives for you and give you some sort of sympathy, and actually make your problems a part of our own lives. toughen up a bit and learn how to handle your problems yourself, unless you want us to cry and complain and unload on you when we have some major problem. and "problem" in this case means insignificant problems that can easily be worked out.
that one's all about being completely fair actually. :)

It would also be helpful if you mention that you're engaged BEFORE you give out your phone number.

Sorry this thread is for guys only. You chased the guys off of your thread. That is why I started this one.

Hoes and skanks fall under the category of girls/women, but unfortunately it can take some time to find out what category these women fall under.

Sorry TJL...keep up this thread!
Michael [hXc] 01-05-2006, 09:24 PM also people might disagree on what constitutes a ho or skank.

Not if you're one of those pretentious hoes.
Chad Michael Murray 01-05-2006, 09:27 PM If we say we're okay, it means we're okay. Don't give us the third degree for the next three hours to find out what's "really going on" when in actuality...we're really okay!!
If we don't always feel like talking or doing something immediately when we get home, it's not a shot at you or meant as an insult at all. It's because we had a hard day and either need some rest, or really need some time to just be able to do 'nothing' for a while. Which brings me to my next one...
If you ask what we're thinking and we say 'nothing'...it's true. Sometimes we really can voluntarily be 'vacant' and not think of a single thing.
Here's another one:
When you suggest a place to eat, and we say it's "interesting," that means we would rather stick needles in our eyes than go there.
For example:
"Oh, and Etheopian resturant? That sounds interesting..."
;)

So, how come girls are allowed to make a thread complaining about guys, but guys arent allowed to make a thread complaining about girls?

Ireneparalegal 01-05-2006, 09:56 PM So, how come girls are allowed to make a thread complaining about guys, but guys arent allowed to make a thread complaining about girls?
I am not complaining abt the thread. I love it. We all need to learn from each other. What i said was how can a "man" compare girls/women to hoes and skanks? He is complaining that women don't tell him TIL AFTER HE BUYS DRINKS that she is married, engaged, has a boyfriend, etc. First of all, ask the woman straight out if she is attached. What is wrong with honesty? If she is a real lady, she will not be offended by the question and you will get your answer. Don't buy drinks for a floozie and then get mad cuz you didn't ask her straight out if she had a man. I have been asked that question and I don't mind it at all.

There's a good chance that I will not like your friends. Just accept it. You will probably hate my friends. I have no problem with that.
If and when our two groups meet up finally, don't expect your friends and my friends to hit it off. We were lucky to find each other.
Oh, if my friend Jack and Lisa, your friend from college hook up and he doesn't call her back, it's not my fault. And I'm not going to cut Jack out of my life either. Lisa is the one who got drunk and hopped up on the bar when that Killers song came on. Maybe she has a problem too.

Chad Michael Murray 01-05-2006, 10:13 PM If I suggest where I think we should go on a date for the weekend and you don't like it, then you say no and suggest something else, I'll most likely go along with it because I've been through the runaround with you so many times that now it's easier to gracefully be defeated than to prolong it. However, when we're on the 'new' date and I seem a bit bored, don't keep asking what's wrong because...we both KNOW what's wrong, and it's the fact that we didn't go where I wanted! Lmao

dawsongirl 01-06-2006, 01:04 AM So, how come girls are allowed to make a thread complaining about guys, but guys arent allowed to make a thread complaining about girls?
It's an advice thread, not a complaint thread. It's a "we want you to act this why" thread instead of "that damn ho I was out with last night did ____ to me, skanky bitch. you ****ing women are all alike!!" And you can change that around too. Either way though, it's never gonna work.
As for me, I'm going to go crawl in a hole and wait for the apocalypse to fry our sorry asses.

LOL Dawson girl.
How many women have had a man send them a drink? (Irene sees many hands go up). We didn't ask u to do that. We didn't twist your arm. You just send us drinks and then get mad because you try to converse and we tell you we are attached, married, engaged, etc. Hint: Dudes, just approach, ask if we are single AND THEN BUY THE DRINKS...hell, I will buy you one, IF I WERE SINGLE, but i think the fact that a guy buys a lady a drink assuming he will get lucky is a fool. He should ask her the question first.
I had very little to do at work today, so I thought up a few more:
When You Say: "Things are really crazy right now. Work (or school) is really out of control. This time of year I have so much going on, I don't think i'll ever have a social life..."
You Really Mean: Look, I'm not interested in going out with you. But I think you're a nice guy (I did after all return your call whe I could have just ignored your message) and I don't want to hurt you, so I'm going to make this simple - every time you ask me out, I'm going to be busy or unavailable. I'm sure you'll get the hint the second or third time this happens. Move on.
When You Say: "Oh...you like Jessica Simpson?"
You Really Mean I utterly despise the singer/actress/model/friend's girlfriend/attractive co-worker you just mentioned, and it would be in your best interest if you never mentioned her name again.
;)
Michael [hXc] 01-06-2006, 07:14 PM also, if you don't want to be more than friends with us, don't flirt and give us the impression you're interested in us. and if you are interested, come out and say it. don't deny it right to our face, especially if it's so obvious that you're lying.

They are gay. ;)
My river of information keeps flowing!
Ladies, if you are thinking of joining the legions of young women who have the tattoo located on the lower back region of your body, do me a favor - don't do it.
To me, the upper a$$ tattoo is like Starbucks.
At first they were fun and different, but now they're everywhere and they all look the same.

Michael [hXc] 01-07-2006, 11:20 PM ok here's one for girls with Myspace accounts.
DO NOT request us (any guys) as friends if you're really hot, if you have a boyfriend, and then get weirded out when we tell you you're hot. because if you have a boyfriend and don't want compliments from anyone else, don't request us as friends or accept our friend requests. ;)
Michael [hXc] 01-07-2006, 11:27 PM and to avoid that on my part, if i see a hot girl i go to where it says whether she is single or not, and if she isn't, i don't request her as a friend unless i just want to talk as a friend.
