1) When we (women) want to talk to you, we don't always want or need advice. We just need someone to talk to and let out what it is that is bothering us. Don't say "you should this" or "you should that". Just listen! Believe me, if we want advice, WE WILL TELL YOU!

2) Just because we are angry or upset abt something, it doesn't always mean IT'S THAT TIME OF THE MONTH. Why is it only men can be upset or angry? We have things that can upset us too. You only make it worse when you label it PMS.

3) Just because I smile in your direction, it doesn't mean I want you to approach me and try to get a date or a phone number. It just means we are smiling and in a good mood.

4) After cooking a wonderful meal, it would be nice if you could at least pick up the dishes and help clean.

5) Alot of times, a hug can do so much.

6) Use terms of endearments alot.

i will add more when I can think of more ideas for you gentlemen:wave:

OMG...that one jerk I talked to last year did that to me. ******* could not listen without passing judgment and trying to change me. Advice is fine, or helpful hints, but what he did...stupid son-of-a-bitch. I have it sooooo much better now.

For all you women out there:

1-Stop calling us so much. We don't like talking on the phone for longer than 10 minutes, just accept it and get over it.

2-Don't bitch when we go out with our guy friends. Remember, bro's before hoe's.

3-Stop asking to drive my car, it's never gonna happen.

well thats my current beef with my girlfriend, so there you go.

Don't tell a girl you're going to call her when you have no intention of doing so. If you are not interested, be a man and tell her directly instead of ignoring her.

Another thing that irked me while I was still on the dating scene was when guys would tell me things like I should get contacts instead of wearing glasses, wear makup, wear more revealing clothes etc... Now I didn't mind compromising and altering a few things about myself as long as he was willing to do the same. But I'd get these guys who would ask me out who smoked, had beer bellies and no teeth and they expected me to be the only one making all the changes. I'm so glad I don't have to go through that anymore. My husband doesn't care if I wear glasses, am a few pounds overweight and that I'm not a beauty queen. He respects me as a person, wife and mother no matter what I look like.

I agree, I've always had my own car and never once asked a guy if I could borrow his. I don't like driving other peoples cars in general. In fact the 2 guys I dated in the years before I met my husband didn't even have valid drivers licences and I was always the one being asked to take them around. I don't mind doing some one a favor now and then but after a while it becomes a real pain especially when they don't appreciate it.

I'm weird, I like driving other people's cars, but don't you dare try and drive mine. :o I'm so possessive!

But I can't drive a stick, so that rules out those cars anyway.

The first one is very true...I've tried to explain to guys numerous times that women tell each other their problems wanting empathy or just a sounding board, men expect solutions, women read solutions as not caring or thinking she's not capable of solving things on her own- dont give solutions unless you are asked for them outright!

Also, "fine" is not an acceptable response to ANYTHING, especially if the question is "how do i look?"

- it's not smart to tell us that something annoys you or gets on your nerves, because next time you make us mad, it will be used to your demise.

- sometimes when we say "nothing is wrong" it's just because we want to see how long you will continue to ask, which will help us determine your genuine concern. However, if we say "nothing is wrong" in a rather bi***-like tone...you better not ask that question again.

- threatening to "end things" if we don't go along with what you want never works....by that time we are so mad at you we really couldn't care less if you did.

- never assume that we always need you by our side....we are big girls and plenty independent enough on our own, we just like your company.

Ohhh boy, I am FAR too familiar with that one. My girlfriend is NOTORIOUS for the 'Nothing is wrong' bit. Of course, I can read her like a book and I can always see something's wrong...I just wish she'd tell me flat out, but of course she doesn't.

I hate tension though or unresolved issues, so there have been times when it took like 3 hours of coaxing to finally get her to admit what was wrong.

You women are like mazes, man...MAZES! Everytime I hit a dead end, I have to turn around and try again.

Do you know how much it hurts for a girl to want to look perfect???? Have perfect boobs, flat stomach, "sexy" body, hot face.....if you think a girl is pretty, go head and compliment her! But if you think a girl is ugly, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!!!! It hurts worse than hell to be called ugly.....and it lowers our self esteem a lot!

A teacher told that to the class once, back in sixth grade. I've always remembered that one. Now if I could just get a woman to want to talk to me ... ;)

Still I feel like I should have some advice, but I never do. So maybe that actually makes me look good.

I want to be like Alex Rieger on Taxi. I'd like people to come to me, looking for advice. But I never have any. Except this - "Never start a sentence with the word 'But'." ;)
