Another thing that irked me while I was still on the dating scene was when guys would tell me things like I should get contacts instead of wearing glasses, wear makup, wear more revealing clothes etc... Now I didn't mind compromising and altering a few things about myself as long as he was willing to do the same. But I'd get these guys who would ask me out who smoked, had beer bellies and no teeth and they expected me to be the only one making all the changes. I'm so glad I don't have to go through that anymore. My husband doesn't care if I wear glasses, am a few pounds overweight and that I'm not a beauty queen. Ohhh boy, I am FAR too familiar with that one. My girlfriend is NOTORIOUS for the 'Nothing is wrong' bit. Of course, I can read her like a book and I can always see something's wrong...I just wish she'd tell me flat out, but of course she doesn't.
